Jack Morton’s AI Fest
The festival saw 96% global participation, a 60% net promoter score, and 94% of attendees found the sessions valuable in inspiring them to experiment with AI; showcasing the event’s success in fostering a culture of innovation within the agency.
AI Fest: Choose Your Own Adventure to equip global teams with practical, peer-driven ways to use generative AI. Over 10 days, the digital program invited every office and discipline to learn, try, and share.
AI interest was high, but confidence and consistency varied. The challenge is to move beyond one-off demos to everyday adoption across creative, strategy, production, and account without overwhelming teams.
Strategy
Design a festival that meets people where they are:
Choose-your-own tracks so each team can engage at its level.
Peer leadership to normalize new habits across disciplines.
Immediate utility through hands-on creation, templates, and prompts.
I served on the agency’s AI steering committee, contributing to integration strategy across everyday workflows. I also co-led two anchor sessions:
AI In Context: Creative
AI for Creatives (with the West Coast ECD): framing how generative tools augment concepting, visualization, iteration, and collaboration.
AI Introducing: MidJourney
Midjourney Hands-On (with the West Coast Creative Director and London Digital Director): practical prompts, iteration techniques, and workflow guardrails. All visual assets I presented were AI-generated by me in Midjourney, modeling the behavior we wanted attendees to adopt.
