It is reportedly that there is a growing trend of entrepreneurial spirit presented at campuses across the UK. Almost a quarter of students already run their own business or entrepreneurial venture, or plan to while at university. We reached out to two young entrepreneurs obtaining their university degree in London, Christopher Chung and Oliver Anwar who started their own e-commerce business.

 They presented on:
- How to start an e-commerce business.
- How to utilise social media to brand and capture an audience.
- The business development and how websites continue to bring in new audiences whilst keeping current members satisfied.

Marketing

We did a lot promotion for the event and I was in charge of creating the marketing plan. We created different social media channels, reaching out to different Facebook community groups, contacting university lecturers, students and created a promo video to distribute to our social media channels.

Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Meetup Group

We had graphic designer Jessica Francis to create some graphics/posters for us to promote the event.

Promo Video

Two young entrepreneurs who support their lifestyle solely through selling digital products will educate and present on: - Starting a digital product business. - Utilising social media to brand and capture an audience. - Business development and how websites continue to bring in new audiences while keeping current members satisfied.

This was first ever event I've built along with my two partners, Thomas and Aisha. The journey was not easy. We built the event from just a simple concept, developing the concept, planning, managing the event and working limited budgets and schedule. We had to postponed our Digital Media Marketing & Young Entrepreneurs event as shown from last Wednesday to the week after because of the snow. That definitely made an impact. Still, we had a decent amount of attendance. We definitely had our ups and lows. Times when we don't know what to do and times but we still powered through everything as a team. I am so grateful to have these two partners to fight through all these stressful times where we would constantly encourage each other, laugh together and also be stressed together.

Thank you Oliver Anwar and Christopher Chung for delivering such good quality presentation. Thank you Perdie Alder from TechHub for having us and providing all the assistance we needed prior and during the event.  #digitalmediamarketing #youngentrepreneurs
