Tokyo
Tokyo is like a second home to me. I believe it is to a lot of Hong Kongies. Before the earthquake, I used to go twice a year; during my midterm break and summer break. This time it was different, instead of my parent planning the trip, I had planned everything. I also documented a lot more than I used to. It was a trip with massive indulgence of toro, sushi and wagyu beef. And of course shopping.
Ginza Fujiya Miyako | My dad had found this place prior to our trip and we had booked a table in advance. This restaurant had won a lot of awards for its fine quality such as the 10th National Wagyu Beef Joint Competition (Wagyu Olympics once in 5 years).
You get your own private room with your own waitress and chef that cooks the food right in front of you. It was definitely a great experience to witness the high quality produce turned into an exquisite meal.

Sushi Hanamaru is where you can find good quality sushi at a very cheap price. It is also a great experience as the choices of sushi goes all around the belt but you can also order on a sheet of paper.
