Barcelona

Barcelona was a great choice for a weekend getaway with a big group. Especially during the summer time, 80% of our time was spent lying on the beach. We stayed in a modern clean airbnb in Eixample, an area which is very convenient for us to get around the city. The night only gets more lively at night as their local dinner time starts at 10:30pm. One night, our dinner time got pushed back till very late because we had lunch fairly late during the day. I remember walking around the streets looking for a restaurant at 11 pm only to find the streets and restaurants was packed with people. Finally stumbled upon a bar restaurant that could fit 6 but had to wait for 40 minutes. We waited. And it was the best restaurant in Barcelona we had - (See below - Bar Brutal). Barcelona is a buzzing city with friendly and happy people, sunshine and great hidden gems for food and shopping.
