los angeles
I have always dreamed of living, traveling to or working in Los Angeles. And I finally did. I traveled alone from New York to LAX and stayed with my best friend more almost a month in Fullerton, CA.
Of course, the first thing you do when you land is go to the nearest In-N-Out.
Chilling at the rooftop of The Americana in Glendale with my friend Derek whilst enjoying the sun and trying not to fall off.
Brunch at Julienne is the perfect start to the weekend. The warm rosemary bread is what got to me then the steak sandwich hit me. I wish I could brunch in the sun everyday, and watch the world go by, people walk their dogs and watch people brunch after a workout.
I realize the best places to take pictures is probably carpark rooftops.
LACMA
Sunset captured at K-town.
California Donuts are no joke! They open 24 hours and out of all the donuts we got, my favorite one is the panda. I am not a big fan of white chocolate at all but the taste of white chocolate is not strong and I love the touch of Oreo ears . As a matter of face, the donut as a whole is very light.
This drink turned grey after mixing it but it was definitely insta-wrothy and very refreshing and delicious after going into all the shops on Fairfax Ave.
I had the best sushi experience here at Hama sushi.
Here at Kang Hodong Baekjeong at K-town is probably the best Korean BBQ meal I've had in my life. This place is so famous and popular that it is normal to wait for hours for a table. We were smart about it and went around 5:30pm and there was already a line, but we only ended up waiting for about 20 minutes. I also love how they cook the meat for you and so you won't overcook or undercook the meat.
Trust me, the wait is worth it.
Yep. We hiked the Hollywood sign. We hiked all the way to the point where we were right above and behind it. It took a lot of planning and car park spot searching to make the hike happen. Especially when you are hiking with 7 people. Make sure to park where there's no warning signs because we saw cops giving out tickets on our way back.
An of course after the hike, we all need a Eggslut to fuel us up. Probably the best post workout food you can have.
